Add Entry… - add a new file to the File Section. All the data fields are filled in from defaults or information taken from the operating system except for the file description and version.
Defaults for Add… - allows the user to customize the “Uploader” and “Access Level” defaults. These settings are stored in the “tidE prefs” file.
Mark for Deletion - toggles deletion of the currently selected file entry. The file entry is not actually removed until the File Section is saved.
Modify Description… - brings up a Text Edit dialog containing the description data for the currently selected file entry. This dialog box supports the use of Cut, Copy and Paste commands (Command key equivalents too) as well as the use of Command-M in place of clicking in the “OK” button.
Modify Dates… - brings up a dialog which allows the user to modify the Upload/Last Access date and time. The date and time fields default to the current date and time as reflected by your Macintosh, but can be modified to any legitimate value by the user. The Upload date and time cannot be modified separately from the Last Access date and time.
Modify Path… - brings up a standard Open… dialog which allows the user to modify the currently selected file entry’s pathname.
Check Disk Info - verify (and correct if needed) the currently selected file’s path, size and type information.
Extract Data… - brings up a dialog box which allows the user to specify and save to a TEXT file, fields of data from the current File Section.
